Hi, I'm new here. Well, I posted once long ago when my netiquette was weak.
Stephenls might recognize me from RPG.net (and anyone else who hangs out
there) as RedFox.
Just thought I'd poke my head out. I just got this Outlook Express
thingamajig configurated for newsgroups and thought I'd give it a try.
Looks like there's some good discussion in here. Hope I can contribute! |

That was quick. I just mentioned alt.games.whitewolf on RPG.net, like,
an hour ago. Good to have you here.

Welcome to alt.games.whitewolf. Now, if that newbie who posted to
alt.games.whitewolf.mage would just migrate here like I suggested...
Oh, and Outlook Express sucks, use a real newsreader, etc. etc..

Welcome and good to see you. This groups is pretty good about keeping
the signal-to-noise ratio down, which means some excellent discussions
happen in these premises. Enjoy.

I prefer Mozilla Thunderbird. You should too.

Welcome to alt.games.whitewolf! Glad to have another participant for
the recurring flame wars over whether Autochthon or Unicron would win in
a fight. (^_^)
I think you will find this is a very casual newsgroup; it is more of a
social club for roleplaying gamers than a structured discussion forum.
Off-topic and personal posts are commonplace, and nobody particularly
minds. So please, make yourself at home.

Howdy!

Bah, I tried other news readers. OE works great for news. It is only the
newsreader that stops me getting a proper email proggie.

Thunderbird. Fast, free, feature-filled. It is, as William Gibson put
it, all Edge. Get it now.

A nifty little add-on called OE-Quotefix makes OE much easier to handle in
general. And since I am the paragon of laziness, this is a Good Thing.

Guess I'll say finally hello as well, although I've posted now and again
in the past few months.
I'm Tyler. I post to RPGnet as DrFaust, for those of you who read the
forums there. I just started getting into Mage recently, making for
impeccable timing.
I've found some really interesting discussions here and it looks like
you've got a pretty good group here, by and large.

Actually, I keep a careful record of off-topic posters. Offenders will
be punished with banishment to an alternate dimension: The Realm Where
RPGers Are Idolized Like Sports and Film Stars.
Just as soon as I find a way to get there MYSELF...

Welcome! And thank you. I am pleased that you like it; I am far from
being one of a.g.ww's oldbies, but nonetheless I take a certain
avuncular pride in this group.
