Hello everyone. This is Mike Gibrall.
Some of you may remember the Super Bowl teams I created for the old Super
Bowl Sunday for
the Commodore 64, as well as the Super Bowl teams for Front Page Sports
Football Pro, and the
enhancements I put into NFL Pro League Football and MicroLeague Football 97
and 4.0.
For the past several years, I've been working for
Dave Holt, creator of NFL Pro League Football, as well as the last two
MicroLeague Football games.
He has really wanted to bring back his football simulation, and has finally
done so with a new company.
The company is called SportSims.

I was involved in the creation of the players being used in the game. The
old game had players from 1961-1996 at the latest.
I had continued the game with 1997-1999 players for free downloads before I
stopped. Since going to work for Dave, I have made players
for the entire 1960 season, and have continued forward from where I stopped
at 1999, and I will continue forward on a yearly basis (so
long as the company employs me:> ) I also created all Hall of Fame players
from the 1950's. Maybe one of these days I'll make all of them.
First names are also included with Last names, and the 'unique number' that
was introduced during the last MicroLeague version of the game for
career mode has been added for every player.
The game takes on a different structure than his original games. Dave has
added career mode into his simulation. Also a training camp.
And a LIVE DRAFT ONLINE for rookies. Animation, I believe, doesn't exist
yet, but that's coming.
You choose one of 32 cities to host your team (i.e. New York). You start
with a team rostered with historic players. You draft on draft day, trade,
roster moves,
set up a gameplan, and let 'er rip. If you actually win the "SimBowl", I
believe your next season is free. If you make the playoffs, I believe you
get a discount for the next season, but you'll need to read up on all of
that online.
I'm willing to answer any questions here if people are interested in asking.
