Hi people,
Myself and a couple of friends are looking for a good strategy game for
a multiplayer LAN party. I guess it needs to be something we can pick up
cheaply and have a strong strategic gameplay - e.g. Age of Empires
usually ends up as a numbers game.

Imperial Glory looks good. I've played it 2 player, but how does it
play as a 3-player? Is it still Attacker v Defender?

Civ III is also an option.

Any suggestions gratefully received?

Thanks in advance
Jimbo.

Yea, Civ III with add-ons is an excellent option. Im mentioning the
add-ons because its the only possibility to play MP. But once you got
it (and get around industrial age) it should be smooth sailing. Frankly
i never played it MP so there might be a problem about the lenght of
the games. Anyways, try it. Its a perfect game.

Dominions 2 and Civ IV. CIV 3 pales in comparison to 4.
