Is there any sort of games that are fairly easy to learn with lots of
strategy, to use with medieval figurines? Or any games that are just plain
fun?

I kinda liked Chronopia. I think this is now OOP but you should be able
to pick it up on E-bay.

Warhammer Fantasy Battles is, by far, the most commonly played rules in
my neck of the woods. This is a very pricey alternative but just
depends on what you are looking for.

Another set is put out by Harn or something like that -- I think it's
called Battle Lust. It has some very good concepts but suffers from
major flaws when heavy armor is utilized. Still nothing that can't be
fixed with a little tweaking.

Yes.
Lots really.

Warhammer ancient battles and DBA are probably the two most popular.

Hi,
I thought I might add my 2 cents worth. Try Armati (Available from
Wargames in Tridelphia PA) The game is quick to learn, the armies are
finacially affordable (usually $90.00 to $200.00) for the complete army
list. Its a game you can learn in an afternoon but spend a lifetime
trying to master. Usual playing time is 2 hours. The only downfall is
that the game is pretty abstract on terrain, not alot of "Pretty and
Detailed" terrain is seen. Please E-Mail me if you need anything
further.

Chris
