Post subject: Larsen traps
Archived from groups: uk>rec>shooting>game (more info?)

Having great results from Mr Larsen's design and Kim's "volunteer". I
suppose the catches just tail off when they have done the job? I'm just
wondering when I can lift them as going around 10 traps twice a day is a
pain.

Oh, I discovered why I am not seeing many roe from the high seats! The
rambler turned up again the other evening. I stayed still until he was ten
yards away! He got quite a fright when the "tree" moved and spoke! Quite a
decent chap, actually, who confessed that he had been having a stroll
around most evenings "to watch the deer"!!! I explained why that was not a
good idea and he promises to go elsewhere. Says he is a shooter but did not
know it was the cock pheasants which do all the crowing....
