Post subject: Kneeboard causes crash in FS2004
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>games>zone>simulation (more info?)

Whenever I try to access the kneeboard and then try to use the scrollbar the
game locks up. I have to try and quit the game and have to turn my power off
to get my computer working again. Everything else works fine; except for the
kneeboard problem. I've checked places and I see others with the same
problem; but no solutions. The only solustion I saw was to disable a program
I've never heard of (Robo Form) which I'm sure I don't have.

Any Help - PLEASE!!

Update your graphics card drivers and make sure you have FS9.1 patch.

Sorry; but updating the drivers was no help and I had the patch already
installed. As soon as I call the kneeboard up and touch a scoll bar the
program crashes. This happens with both default aircraft and add-on
aircraft. I have a Dell 8300 with 1 gig of RAM, and a nVidia 5200 graphics
card - but not sure why this is happening.

Sorry, but updating the drivers didn't help. I have a dell 8300 with 1 gig
of RAM and a nVidia GeForce 5200. Still, everytime I call up the kneeboard
and touch the scroll bar FS9 crashes. This happens in default aircraft as
well as add-on aircraft.
