I feel like going out and impulse buying something. People say Partners in
Time is good. Should I buy it? Persuade me!

Did you like Superstar Saga? I forget. The Tim Massive Database of Who
Likes What appears to have failed.

Persuade you to go out and "impulse buy" something specific?

The whole notion is too confusing for me. Must lie down...

Never played it. Should I play it first?
(I could keep it and Animal Crossing both in my DS at the same time and save
hassle... hmm...)

When you put it like that, it makes less sense.

I'd say yes. PiT has four characters, which I can imagine is more
complicated if you've not played SS first.

But I've not played PiT, so I don't know.

Partners in Time is ace. However, based on my experience thus far in PiT
- having finished the first game - Superstar Sage is marginally more ace.

Or to put it another way:

"I HAVE FURY!!!" > "Back to adventure!"

Except, of course, for the meeting with Mr I HAVE FURY in PiT, which had
me almost eating my own brain with mirth.

(possible spoilers buried in the text below)

"Princess Peach's sweet voice will soon be the bread that makes the
sandwich of Cackletta's desires! And this battle shall be the delicious
mustard on that bread! The mustard of your doom!"

"Your lives that I spit on are now but a caricature of a cartoon drawn
by a kid who is stupid!"

"I have fury! In the last moments of the finale of the finale, when
relief leads to negligence that begets rashness ... that is when the
comeback that faltered comes back and beats your pathetic comeback that
I scoff at!"

"I have fury! At last, my entrance with drama! Finally! Now is the
time where my true might shines, like many angry sunbeams of rage!
St-standing here in the spotlight at such a great gala of spectacularity
.... my nerves are nervous! But ... now that I am thinking ...
Cackletta's revival was all thanks to my quite nasty efforts! Which
means that all this time, I am Fawful, who is just a Toady! Such
working, all for others! And THAT means ... the true meaning of our
battle gives me fear and confusion! I need no long speech before this
battle, which will be mighty! Snack on my wrath, fink-rats!"

So, so funny.
