Okay, I just sent both of you a friend request. I just started FB last
Monday so I'm just beginning to play those apps. I started Farm Town,
Farmville, Cafe World and another one or two.
It's really beginning to be a small world isn't it? LOL

Very small. I prefer Farm Town to Farmville but play both, Yoville too -
Jeanie's got that.
Then I like a bit of aggro - so Mafia Wars - and a bit of cute - Pet
Society.

None... my laptop is not on the net, and I don't really trust Internet stuff. I
have plenty of computer problems without worrying about unknown variables! |

Yes, it looks like facebook could eat my life if I'm not careful. I
clicked on something and ended up in Yoville this morning, even though I
really didn't want to. LOL My niece is trying to get me involved with
Farmville and some old friends from high school are deeply into Mafia
Wars. I'll have to be choosy if I expect to ever get back to playing sims!

Good grief, I know what you mean. I'm just getting out of FB. LOL I did stop
long enough to fix dinner but then I was running back and forth. I don't
know about those apps, they may be more addictive than Sims.

There is plenty of stuff you can trust, but if you don't want to, that's
fine. However I think it does make a difference. A heap of CC will slow
down loading the game and might slow down playing the game. Some content is
especially bad, don't ask me to explain it but it has to do with the poly
count. I try to stick to low poly if I know.

It's coffee break stuff really. Been better while we had builders in than
simming. One time they switched off the electricty circuit my pc was on
while I was playing Sims so I gave up.
I clicked into Yoville one day and ignored it for several weeks then someone
sent me a gift.... I am not hooked on it but it passes a few minutes.
Farmville is quite nice and if you do long term crops it doesn't take up
much time. Same with Farm Town - though it's more sociable, you can chat to
people while playing if you hire or get hired. I prefer Farm Town, it looks
better. Mafia Wars is 5 minutes a couple of times a day, for me. Click do
jobs, click, bank money, click, fight people. Extra couple of minutes if I
choose to spend money buying more properties. Currrently I seem to gather
over $2 million every 60 minutes, after expenses. If only.

The minimum system Specs for the Sims 2 base game was :
CPU: 800 MHZ
memory:256 MB
Video Card: 32MB T&L
DirectX 9.0
The minimum Specs for Apartment is:
CPU: 1.4 GHZ/2.4 GHZ for Vista
Memory:1 GB RAM
Video card: 64MB T&L
Directx 9.0C
If you have a large neighbourhood, the requirements would increase. |

I tried Yoville today and it showed me a plant and wanted me to rotate it
and then guess things messed up cause I couldn't ever get nothing going. I
finally quit. Guess I'll try it another day or time.
Yes, I think Farm Town and Farmville might be my favs. I seem to be learning
a little more each time. I wanted a Farming EP in Sims 2 so guess this will
be the closest I come to a farming game. lol |

Plenty to do in those two. And at least the avatars don't get
tired/bored/hungry/want to pee!
btw, I lost a couple of gifts earlier too.

I think I've lost some gifts and some free stuff in that Roller Coaster
game. I'm almost blind playing those games. LOL I just like to try them out
for a little while and just see which I like the best. I still think Cafe
World, Farm Town are better for me at this point. They seem easier to
follow. Oh yeah, I got hired to do some harvesting and the person was
chatting with me and all of a sudden I couldn't use the chat. They were
telling me what a good job I was doing. They asked me if I was still there
and I could not even let them know I was. LOL I had a job to plow and when I
went to the farm, nothing would happen. Everything was screwing up and I
even lost the server...bummer. It would have been a good job too. Oh what
fun today has been. |
