Replaces all previous patches. Reinstallation of game recommended. Not
compatible with previous saves.

JoWooD Productions just released the latest update for Gothic 3 –
Forsaken Gods. This patch fixes current problems, improves the overall
stability of the game and heightens the gaming experience.

Before updating the game with the latest patch a re-installation of
the game is recommended. All existing savegames have to be deleted and
can not be used with the updated version.

Gothic 3 - Forsaken Gods 107 Patchlog:


QUESTS AND ENVIRONMENT

- Cannot find "Paladin General" for completing Lee quest Fixed
- Milten leaves the summoner's cave; Nobody in Vengard throne room
after kiling the beast. Fixed
- The pranksters are fighting each-other. Fixed
- The ork warriors from Cape Dun have their bodies doubled Fixed
- Urbanus artifact quest Fixed
- Orc camp appears only after Inog gives you the quest Fixed
- Menu disappears when roasting meat Fixed
- Paladin Helmet is still present in game Fixed
- Theodor Sack of wheat blocker Fixed
- Milten remain blocked in the woods Fixed
- Floating box in Vengard Fixed
- Floating oil lamps in Vengard Fixed
- Theo's chest is properly placed Fixed
- Ogit leaves Montera Fixed
- Erthag and Ogit are walking trough the walls of a building. Fixed
- Hard coded english strings -now in the string table. Fixed
- Duplicate models removed Fixed
- Army of Gotha fighting among themselves. Fixed
- Erhag and Urbanus start fighting with each other Fixed
- NPCs fighting with each other during Hamlars escort mission Fixed

GENERAL

- Fixed Focus Names over 90%
- Text issues resolved over 90%
- German VO issues resolved over 90%
- NPC's in a group will not fight each other

What they really mean is that post-patch the game just sucks a little less
but still sucks.

Wonder if they bothered to fix:

1. Lee walking off the map.
2. Hashishin wife talking with Orc voice.
3. Prisoner follows but then goes back to Kan 3 times.
4. Any of the missing voices in 80% of the dialogs
5. Gate guard barking.
6. Longsword being top weapon in game, because sword
hit value means nothing ... and old longsword hit value
code is still there, and overrides the new "endurance"
requirement.
7. No need for hunting skills at all. Longbow is more effective
than the Nimrod.
8. Over 600,000 gold coins free grabs from any chest.
9. Turning the Stranger into a Bastard with a prissy British
vocabulary .. "Very well. I shall be off "
10. Paladins not showing up with Lee at Gotha .. because
they are off the map just over the hill from where they are
suppose to be.
11. Milten running a marathon and not waiting for the Paladins
and Gorn and Lee when leading to the summoning cave.
12. Dialog not loading until 2nd or 3rd attempt to trigger dialog.
13. Can't buy working Paladin armor from guy at Vengard, no
matter what level you are.
14. Wife wants "Nordmarian" armor when she means "Paladin"
armor.
15. New sword fighting endurance loss easy to overcome by
trotting in a circle around the opponent until endurance is
restored. Boring and stupid.
16. Go murder a ladys husband for no good reason ... and then
she acts like a whore. Why ?
17. Orc with prissy British voice afraid of "sharp things". Why ?

Gothic 3 patch 1.7 soon ? - Jowood site talking about it, and there's a short film. I don't see how, but looks like patch 1.7 restores group attacks like in Gothic 2. So you don't just jump into a crowd of Orcs and beat 50 of them at a time anymore ?? ... maybe ? Gives the game a....
