'ello all,
Thought I'd see how this goes, maybe we can get a small bit of
conversation going before even Motzarella stops carrying RGVS....
Found this today:

Talks about how new Genesis games are coming to Brazil. Apparently they
are ports of mobile games...but hey, some of those could actually be fun
if you had a controller, and weren't forced to play it on a shitty phone.
Was over at GameWorks earlier this week, saw some stuff that may or may
not actually be new, but was new for them:
1. Rambo(lightgun) - I gotta say, this one was a blast(literally). The
gun itself is HUGE, and heavy...and kicks. You sit there mowing people
down(it's a machine gun) while building up your "rage" meter. Popping it
off gives Rambo a "movie clip" that lets you mow down crowds of enemies
without having to reload at all(it also increases your damage). It
reminded me of that feeling I got when first playing HotD in the
arcade...just warm and fuzzy. It's done so right...so old-school-Sega.
It's a shame that it probably won't make it to the consoles...and even
if it does it'll probably just make it to the Wii.
2. After Burner Climax - Never been a huge fan of actually playing the
games, but I *love* watching it. This is no exception. It is pretty,
pretty, pretty! Runs a silky 60fps and just hauls ass in general. Just
from watching the demo, it appears to just simply be ABII in 3D...
3. Sega Race - Looks to be using the Outrun 2 engine. Oddly enough,
there's nothing really "Sega" about the race: You don't pick Sega
characters to drive, you don't race through levels from Sega games,
nothing. It's like they ran out of ideas and didn't just want to call it
"Race".
4. House of the Dead 4 - Didn't get to see this one very much...didn't
seem that different from the others from what I did see. Sega has a
pretty nice little site about it here:
http://www.sega-amusements.co.uk/03/flash/HOD4_SP.html
5. Jurassic Park - I swear there's another JP lightgun game out there,
but I can't remember the exact name of it. Seemed pretty good, much like
the first one.
