Game Online Order - Authorised! Packing!

No, the email definitely said it would arrive on the Friday morning, so
I won't be getting it before release.

I guess they've just got thousands of cards to process and boxes to
pack, so they're getting it done now.

Annoyingly, the games I ordered aren't packing yet, so I guess they're
sending those out separately. Which means I could well have a 360 and no
games next Friday.

Maybe I'll pick up Condemned at the weekend, just so I've got something
waiting.

If not, I'm actually really looking forward to playing Halo 2 on the
360. And there are the downloadable demos and arcade games.

You could always order the games from gameplay. They will probably despatch
on weds?

If you are planning on getting the downloads don't forget to buy a points
card

It's not the despatch date that's the problem, it's that the post to my
flat is appallingly bad.

I thought the games would come with the console via courier, so I wasn't
bothered when I ordered.

I could cancel the games, I suppose, but I used a voucher to get some
money off.

Well if it comes to that the hard drive has Hexic HD on it, and you can
always download some demos to play while you're waiting.

All demos are free, he'll only need the card to buy full versions of
Arcade games. I also just found out, much to my disappointment, that
Geometry Wars 2 included on PGR3 will have a 4-minute time-out and no
leaderboard support, and requires purchasing the full game from
Marketplace for about £3.50 even if you buy PGR3. Which is a bit wank.

Yep. And Gauntlet 4 player co-op on Xbox Live! I love Gauntlet.
