SETUP
Special Edition
This is a QUICK game for all those on holidays who miss their dose of
planets when many other games will pause or even come to a hold due to
lots of folks being away.
Length: The game will run for 25 turns, and then the winner will be
decided.
Map: the map will be 500ly by 500ly (or less) with 100 or less
planets.
Victory conditions: The winner is the one who has taken / captured /
destroyed the most Homeworlds (and their population) of other races by
the end of the game at turn 25. You get one Kill Point (KP) for an
enemy HW, you lose one KP if your HW is taken but you can continue
playing and still win the game if you have the most KP. In case of a
tie the fastest player to get the kills win.
At turn 25 if you have the control (a Blockade by host standard, 6
ships (not disabled) are needed in 3ly) of the orbit of an enemy HW
you get + 0.5KP (if nobody has claimed a kp for this player yet)
A KP can only be given once per player (or 0.5 at turn 25).
Naming & Moving the HW: Your Homeworld base should have a special name
like "Crystal HW", if you move to another base make sure you have only
one base with "HW", and it must be your base with the most colonists,
this base is the one you need to protect, and the one the enemy can
destroy / capture for a KP.
The player losing his HW must confirm it on the BB.
In case of a draw, the winner is the player who was the fastest in his
kills.
No ally, no communication, except on the game banter board.
NAP and border deal are allowed, no trading beside information on the
game banter board.
Many races are not a valid choice due to the small map, density and
stable wormholes.
I will ask Drew to run a host side utility (VGA_Tech.exe) all race
start with engine tech 15 to speed up the start of this short game
(instead of default engine tech 6).
Maximum 1 of each Race, so grab your race now!
Game start around 15 December 2008 (or before if all spot are taken),
and end after receiving the turn 25 rst.
Host may decide to play.
The 2005 winner was Senator Guru with the UEA.

Lizard player Kadesh.
