I agree. It does add to some games appeal, and I guess if you're
sociable and into team things that's okay too. Thing is I have heard
people say stuff like "If they don't have a mike they aren't getting
in the game" etc.
I had some laughs on TDU when just driving around and someone would
target you, but for fun, so you could just have a frantic run off.
Simple fact is though there are too many people who think the only
reason to play online is to win something at all costs.
I really enjoy having stuff like auction houses in games, so I do like
having the option of being able to connect with others even if it is
just swapping things or buying things (only with in game credits,
NEVER with real cash)
