That's weird. My KVM switches at any time, even while mouse focus is
locked by a game. The computers can't tell that anything has happened.
It's a cheapo PS2 switch.

That's not what I am talking about though. I'm talking about sliding the
mouse over to a second screen attached to the same computer and not the
monitor on the other computer, which is what you are talking about.
