FSX wont launch "currently non waypoints"

Installed MS Flight Sim X plus some add-ons (scenery etc) but on first launch
get an error message "FS requires at least one each of the following to run:
an airport, a VOR, an NDB, and a waypoint. There is currently no waypoints
in the dataset. FS will now exit"

Then it exits, so I cannot even get it started

Help!

With earlier versions of MSFS SOME problems could be resolved by
renaming or moving the simulator's main .cfg file. The simulator would
build a new .cfg file the next time it started. Any custom keyboard and
control settings would be reset to the default values in that process.
