Right. So it is my turn. My predator comes to bleed me for 10 with his
Enkil Cog special out of turn action:
A) I *can* play reaction cards, 'cause someone else is acting.
B) I *cannot* play Out of Turn Master cards (i.e. AI), 'cause it is
still my turn.
Are both of these correct?

Or the Monocle of Clarity. But of course only Revelations really solves the
issue. But it's ok, Lucian himself has AUS so his friends just need it
too...

He could go on the Path of the Void. That would put him under the
speed limit. Then, once he gets the Cog you might be able to arrange
for him to commit diablerie to remove it.

Well, yeah, but we all know the correct solution is Revelations (he
can't be grouped with Le Dinh Tho, doesn't have chi for Shattering,
and can't easily fish out a Monocle... but most imporantly, of course,
he has AUS). Still, PotV is the most reasonable way to make Lucian
bleed the speed limit (beating out insane things like Clan
Impersonation Gangrel + Gangrel Atavism)... which says a lot about how
reasonable that approach is here. Putting enough Voids into a deck to
get one early enough to protect yourself from AI until you draw a Cog
is silly... just play more Cogs, Revelations, and/or a smaller deck
and try to get your Cog on quickly before your prey has time to cycle
to an AI.
Still, if you're looking for vampires to consider for a PotV deck,
he'd be a interesting choice (but not the best choice... infernal
vampires ignore that downside) because he can turn his huge intrinsic
bleed into a large intrinsic bleed and intrinsic stealth. You'd be
building the deck to deal with the downside in that case... lots of
masters or giving him a way to untap.

You should also consider Prophecies of Gehenna. Good for checking if you
have to play the Revelations or not. |
