First this machine is big so plan on moving it or having it moved by
someone other than me. I can't say for sure what works and what
doesn't.
I can be sure that it is missing one small circuit board. Probably the
sound board.
I would like to see this move, but would I am taking serious offers.
One side looks really good. The other about average. The glass is
flaking on the back side.
The cab is pretty solid. With some love this holy grail machine could
look really nice.
Email me with your offer or trade offer. I have no idea what the
market will bring but I know that this is a rare game and this is
restorable and pretty complete.
Yes the back door is missing.. but that is minor.
See the photos and enlarge them. I want this thing gone fast but am
not willing to give it away.
I got this from a vendor as a project, but do not have the time.
Make reasonable offer please. |

| Well, seeing that it is HUGE and that it needs about 500.00 plus in repro
parts and about 2 months of cleaning, what is Your serious offer? More than
say 200.00?

2 months of cleaning... 8 hours a day thats like 580 man hours. even
at minimum wage this thing is just a money pit. Add in the month and
a half of time it will take to transport it and the team of elephants
to move it and man I should just set fire to it now.
I should ACTUALLY be paying to have this thing removed.
I could spend that 200 dollars on a broken donkey kong or pacman
board...better yet dinner and a movie.
rental - team of elephants - 40,000
cleaning ladys and tip - 8,000
price of machine 150
parts 500
Nasa engineers for assembly 60,000
Why does anybody want it at all? |

Thanks for saying EXACTLY what I was thinking. I'm interested too, and I
could come get it, but with the repair and cleaning needed and transport
involved, I couldn't offer more than $200 myself (I actually was thinking
like $150 to make it worth while).
Good luck with the sale. Good game, relatively uncommon, but it will be a
tough one to sell, due to the size, condition and repair needed.

Worth more than that to me, but it'd have to be local which that one
isn't, and I'd need a slightly bigger house. Fantastic game when it
works though. |

This is a fantastic game and I'll admit I'm a Tron nerd (what with my
stand-up machine nine feet from me right now). I have an offer that I
hope isn't too lowball. My problem is it would cost me $400 in gas to
come get it from Michigan. |

Why does anybody want it at all?
Because you could part it out for over $500 easy...
Don't let these lowballers fool you. The game is worth well more than $200
in its present location and condition. |

I completely agree, it's worth more than $200, and parted out worth over
$500. I also agree my $150 was a low ball offer. Absolutely no dispute
from my end on any of that.
It isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last time I make a low
ball offer on something. But in the "make offer" game, I'm still going to
low ball on my initial offer. All a seller has to do to stop low ball
offers is to stop fishing for the one-in-a-million hi-ball offer and just
name a reasonable asking price.

Well, more often than not you will get more for it in parts than a whole.
Sorry to say but it is true. Although you might think that this game in its
condition May be to you worth 600.00 or more, as it sits no, not to me, If
you ever had to spend 200.00 on a broken DK or Pac board, I feel your pain.
I personally never have paid more than 50.00 for working ones, but location,
location, location. Way up here near Canada things really do not sell that
high.
Case and point, a nice tron sold at MOMA auction here I think last year,
125.00 and it worked. Now mind you this was not the EDOT but, as I see
farther south of here, just a Tron Cab sells for more than that. |
