Has anyone upgraded to a DirecTV H-20 receiver and
figured out which IR code to use so the Replay can
control the receiver?

thanks

Haven't done it, but the H-20 is a High Def receiver. Seems like a waste
of money to use it to record standard definition TV on a ReplayTV.

But here is a link for info from AVSforum on getting a downloadable code
for the D10 receiver, which may have the same control codes:

Nothing specific, but there are other links which may get you what you
want.

Thanks Jeff, I actually have been recording Hi-Def recordings
on my Replay for years via my Sony HD300 and before that my
Mitsu SR-HD5. It actually makes a big difference, to me, to
record the Hi-Def version of a program at medium quality over
the SD recording. When played back from the Replay the difference
between the two recordings is similar to a 480p DVD quality
experience versus a VHS tape directly into a standard television.
The diffference is *significant* regardless of being recorded
on the non-HiDef replay because the source is so much cleaner.

thanks again for the pointer to AVS forum...
