To be able to play the games you bought, you are supposed to go
into the shadows .. to become a terrorist.

I've read that games infected with the StarForce wouldn't work
under the 64-bit versions of WinVista because the 32-bit
StarForce drivers wouldn't work.
But I was surprised the other week when i installed my
UbiSoft-published 3-CD version of 'Paradise' by 'White Bird'
under a 32-bit version of WinVista. When i started the game
(after having updated it to version 1.1.3) i was greeted with a
request for a non-existent serial-number just like the OP here.
(By the way i saw just such a copy of 'Paradise' for sale the
other week and all computers sold today in the stores have
WinVista pre-installed.)
GameCopyWorld.com says the version of 'Curse' published in
NorthAmerica is infected with StarForce just like my version of
'Paradise' is. Both requesting non-existent serial-numbers .. i
think we can see the trend here.
I'm sure 'Protection Technology', the people behind StarForce, as
well the people behind SecuROM, SafeDisk and Tages and whatever
are lobbying hard to make it illegal to use cracked software like
the fixes at GameCopyWorld.com that we have to use to be able to
play the games we bought.
