The entry to the Ski Slope is found on the upper levels of the Pocket D.

Candy Canes can be earned quickly by running the Father Time "Rescue
Baby New Year" missions in the Pocket D ski slopes.
If you complete the "Rescue Baby New Year" mission, you have a "5 Candy
Cane" reward choice.

This means, 5 missions = 1 Halo ("Angelic" or "Burning"). You can buy
both if you get 25 candy canes for each Halo.
You buy the Halo from the Green Elf Costumed "Candy Man" near Father
Time.

Once purchased, the HALO costume piece can be added into your character
look at the Tailor.

The HALO piece is selectable in the AURAS dropdown menu.
It is found between "Glowing Aura" and "Crumbling Rock".

You can also purchase an Invention Craftable Travel Power Enhancement
for the price of 125 Candy Canes (purchased from the "Candy Man" character
near Father Time).

one interesting thing w/ the halo...well at least the fire one is that
it works very well with Dark Armor. I tried most of the auras out
there and they all get murked up pretty darn good once you get all
your toggles on and cloak of darkness makes it even worse. Well the
halo seems to float high enough over your head that it's out of your
dark cloud so you can see it even when you got everything up and
running
