Post subject: Chess computer vs Human!
Archived from groups: rec>games>chess>computer (more info?)

Just thought I would shock some of the regular readers by posting a
relevant (i.e. not political or spam) post in this newsgroup! Very Happy
Although maybe this should be in rec.games.chess.analysis! Smile
After playing our chess computers against each other, SAT W-7 and I
decided to have a game against each other's chess computer.
While I managed to win against the Ivan II chess computer, my
Kasparov Cosmos had a hard time trying to finish off SAT W-7. With his
permission I have added the pgn for his game. Take a look...

I think my mistake was putting my bishop between my Queen and Rook
which allowed it to move the Knight to a killer position ....
When you look at this game , this was a good game for me , i feel i
played well ...
Looking back on this game i should have played for a draw but i
wanted to win so then i started to try and move the bishop around my
defensive position that is when i belive i started to lose the game ..
It was still fun for me to play his Kramer ...

YES , he won the very first game against my Ivan computer so he is a
strong player ...
He used Ivans weakness to his advantage , trapping the Queen and Bishop
...It was fun watching him play it ......
Remember , i have LOST to Ivan 400 + times and ONLY won ONE game at
the same strongest level .....Then Rocket Man destroys Ivan on his very
first game .....

By the way my opening as White , i wanted to play a defensive game so
that is why i did this opening ...Later in the game i had Kramers
Knight , Queen and Rook tied down and i should have just played for a
draw from that position ....What do you better player think ?

Hope you don't mind SAT W-7, I have decided to cross-post your game
into the chess.analysis newsgroup as well. Probably more chance of
getting someone to analyse it for you! Smile
