I like the 'classic' - I'm not very fond of the 'Inversor', but I do
think that you could try the inversor shoulder pads (purple trim, white
centers with red symbols) on the classic and it would look good. The
other two don't do a lot for me either.
Hope that helps,

Sure, make me look at another one...
Oh, wait - that's very nice too. My only suggestion is that since your
chapter symbol is gold/yellow - perhaps put that on the red knee pad,
and then the skull in red on the yellow knee pad. Other than that, I
don't have a lot of useful suggestions, as I think it'll look sharp on a
model.

I took the helm form Red Death and the body of Classic.
Skull Head were born when I tried to make some difference between Classic
marine and the company standar bearer, and decided to have the helm all
white. |

When I have some time. I'll add colors for the specialists. I hope to have
WiP pics up soon too.
It does look sharp even with my meager painting skills. If I may be so
bold.

They're all fine, tho I don't understand why you're contrasting the
knees, hands, and elbows.
If I were doing them, I'd go with:
- purple body;
- white eagle, shoulder pads and helmet;
- red insignia;
- blue / metallic gun.
It would be much easier to paint, and more cohesive-looking on the
battlefield.

I'm not sure the Iron Man army works as a group, tho it's probably good
for your Sergeants.
I would tweak the scheme for the rank & file as follows:
- red body;
- gold chest eagle, helmet, and shoulder pad edging;
- white insignia and skulls;
- tin bitz weapons and joints.
I'd do the Captain almost entirely in gold, following the very early
Iron Man.

I find they look good as a squad. The arms don't show much on most
marines so I'm not concerned about too much gold.
The Vet Sgt. Is almost all gold. Like so:

yes, it's the same link but I added the Vet sgt. and a chaplain. |

Got any JPGs of actual minis?

OK. BTW, the VS & cHAplain ought to still show Chapter heraldry.

Yes, yes.
Tho that would be a bit too bright and non-contrasty for me. I'm actually:
- grey body & helmet;
- pale grey eagle & veteran / commander helmets;
- black shoulder pads w/ silver & white insignia;
- boltgun metal gun.

Right. I know. I was tired of playing in Photoshop.
I have a tac squad & a LR done except for chapter badge (haven't made my
decals yet) and not based. If I get a chance I'll pull them out and snap
some pics. |
