i'll be making do on a single core xp4000+ pc with a couple of 6800GT
cards (hopefully SLi is supported) and 3GB RAM but probably going to get
a new PC in a few months time

"Making do"?

My PC is Athlon 64 3000+ with a single 6800GT and 1GB of RAM.

Mind you, I've not played any PC games in about a year, as my wife's pretty
much taken over that computer.
