My latest fit of dementia ... er, that is, my new game, my first in
Inform 7 ... is finally ready for testing. I'm hoping to enlist a few
industrious and ruthless testers to put it through its paces. The goal
is to have it ready to roll out by March 1, in time for the Spring
Thing.
This is a large, light-hearted game in the classic vein -- lots of
puzzles, a quasi-serious but extremely goofy quest, eight or ten NPCs
you can chat with, and an assortment of cuddly (or not so cuddly)
animals, including a pig, a poodle, an otter, a cobra, and a duck.
Also some leprechauns and the inevitable troll. It's mildly cruel --
there are several ways to die and a couple of ways to make the game
unwinnable. Hints are included.
