| Does anyone know if Dice are planning to add more maps to the upcoming
Battlefield 1943? I know it's a reasonably safe bet that they will I just
wondered if anything had been officially said. I was a massive fan of 1942
and was a bit disappointed when I found out that the European and African
theater maps weren't in 43.

yes I think so, nothing official though that I could find, although
this 1943 approach is interesting as its supported by users playing
more and getting more maps in return.
It brings a new level to perks and upgrades where the entire community
is responsible for unlocking maps
Coral Sea unlocks after the community (XLIVE $ PSN) reaches the 43
millions kills mark.(there's debate whether you need a total of 43 on
EACH console or its combined) So in essense you HAVE to have 43
million on EACH console for the map to unlock. So if XBLIVE gets 43
million and PSN doesn't you'll have to wait for the PSN community and
vice versa for the coral sea map to become an option
Wake Island, Guadal canal, Iwo Jima and Coral Sea are the planned maps
What unlocks at the 86 million mark? Europe? Africa? Perhaps, I
think its up to SALES at this point and popularity to unlock future
content.
It's kinda like saying 'ok where gonna support the game if you do"
more kills more maps , more players and so forth |

Every link I've found say 43 million for each console for a combined
total of 86 million.
Where did you get the 56 million number? |
