He's a bastard!
I've done the final level so many times that I can get through it very
quickly now, which is pretty satisfying in itself, but the final boss
gets me every time. I've got him down to one piece of health numerous
times now but he always clinches the battle.
I'm not really after tips, it's just my thumbs hurt now so I can't play
Bangai-O, so I thought I'd come here and *type* about Bangai-O instead.

I hate it when anyone mentions Bangaio, since it makes me want to play
it again.
I never finished it.

Where did you get up to?
After running through the final level to reach the boss several times
yesterday I had a go at level 1 'for kicks'. It's amusingly easy -
there's like 3 enemies and one ground-based missile launcher in the
whole level! I even remember thinking "Whoah, that's quite intense" when
I first played it!

I can't remember. There was one level I got stuck on where you started
with loads of emeies all on the start screen firing at you. You had to
use one of your supers almost immediately.

And it's well worth running through again for the comedy translation ...

I tried it rcently but it doesn't work at all with a VGA box. Bah. I
seem to rememeber one of the levels halfway through (24 or 25) being one
of the hardest of the lot, finished the last level a lot quicker than
that bastard....

I must have watched the attract mode at least 40 times. Every time I
laugh!
"Bangai O??!
(The name means nothing.)"
