Armor addon?

You could just open the needed character in the armory and alt-tab
into and out of the game when needed to check stats.

Yikes don't download the entire CosmosUI package just for that one addon,
you'll kill your performance! You can download EquipCompare seperately, but
I'm not sure it's really what you want. AFAIK, EquipCompare will only
compare the item you're mousing over with what the character that's viewing
it is wearing, so if you're looking at mage items on a rogue bank alt for
instance, you're going to be comparing mage items to your rogue's items NOT
your other mage's items. I'll have to look at my EC options later to see if
you can bring up tooltips for other toons but as I'm remembering, you can't.
That being said, EquipCompare IS a good addon and I would suggest it if you
don't already have it. Couple that with Ratings Buster and you're good to
go for future item upgrades as it converts things like Int to spell crit and
mana regen, you know, the values that you REALLY want to see.

Thanks, I'll check into EquipCompare. You are correct, the solution
mentioned doesn't work in this case because the bank alt at the AH is
buying for other characters and mousing over items compares to HIS stuff
not the stuff of characters he is buying for.

That is why I was looking for something to make a printout of equipment
characteristics.

Don't need a printout... Just use characters viewer

With characters viewer you can 'switch' chars - to view equipment, bank,
bags, etc. Used along with Equip Compare, it makes AH shopping easier.

Once you have logged into and 'saved' the information for each alt, all you
need to do while shopping is use the pulldown menu on the character
equipment screen (paper doll) to select the char you would like to shop for.
Now, when you are in the AH, Equip Compare with compare the items with the
equipment the ALT is wearing.

Very cool.

If you use the Possessions add on, you can get it to filter down to a
specific alt, what they're wearing and a specific slot. Or you can
filter down to the alt and a slot so you can also see what they might
already have in the bank waiting to grow into.
