No, honestly, I'm an a-musical person. When I invite people over to my place they always comment on
how silent it is here, but that's only because I never ever have a television or music on.

Nothing to drown out the voices in your head? That explains a lot. Those
voices escape into your posts, don't they?

What about a-tonal music?

But I need to gain weight! I'm only around 80 kg, that's too skinny for a guy.

Therapist: "I see. Esben, when did you stop enjoying life?"

Esben: "Right after I realised that the only reason that I was born,
was so that I could become just another cogwheel in the machine of
society... a nameless shadow among the masses. And the fact that
magic, dragons, spirits, unicorns, elves, psionics, fairies and
gryphons didn't exist just kinda added to the depression. Then I
realised that I'd never mutate into a cat/human hybrid or sprout

Today I'm perfectly sane!! I can prove it with this Kiona.

That's even worse. Because even though there's no sound to be heard, I know there's music around. A
bit like when you know there's a sniper hidden on the rooftop across the street.

What have brown hills got to do with your sanity?

No, I meant stuff that's off-key or dissonant.

Did the sniper miss?

At the high end? You couldn't be more horribly mistaken, sir! It means I still need to gain 20 kg by eating
pizzas, sausage rolls, cake, ice cream, chocolate, cookies, and more wellness!

No, a stroopkoek, I'm not making things up. You can get them at the AH, both in the AH and
Euroshopper brands, you can get them at the Jumbo, you can get them at the Aldi and probably
elsewhere too. And they're delicious. I love them, they're way better than stroopwafels!

As for ontbijtkoek, what kind of ontbijtkoek was it? Personally I like Gemberkoek, Groninger Ontbijtkoek
and Oalwief best.

Do you think my brains splattered on the world have the shape of some religious icon? It kind of looks
like a duck, but when you squint and turn your head then...ohhhhhhhhh!!

That'd be a stroopwafel. Get your cookies straight. Although it was more
the ontbijtkoek time of day.

Ah, you mean the one with the slightly thicker crust. I never eat them.

Bureaucratic dictators are the worst. You'll make people people fill in
their objections in triplicate on a W26.211/l78-QO370a form. Of course
it needs to be filled in with a 2B pencil.

Is that because what Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff did to Ring "My Bell"?
I trust you liked the quasi bit.

Made of Belgian or Swiss chocolate?

If enough people splatter their brains against walls, some are bound to
randomly form a recognizable shape of a religious figure. Some can even
cause a fatwa to be called on you.
