Age Of Mythology: Titans

Hi all,
i have had Titans now for a while, but however have not played it in quite a
long time. I recently got on there and wanted to play a bit of Multiplayer
online. But whenever i go to log in, it says that there is a later edition
out. so i went and downloaded the latest v 1.03, and it still says that.
Can anyone help me? has the server shut down? or is there something i need 2
do.
