Does anyone know if there will be an Ipod application port of ARDB?

I do. And the answer is no. Unless someone wants to do it. But as
the GUI library that Ardb uses does not (yet?) run on the iPhone it
would probably be easier to develop an application from scratch.

Graham.

Android requires Eclipse for the SDK and application development.
Is ARDB using Eclipse?

I didn't see anything in the ARDB FAQ listing what the development
environment is.

If it is eclipse it would be easier to covert it to another platform

Ardb is developed using C++. It uses wxWidgets as the cross platform
GUI library, libxml and libxslt. Any C++ compiler that can build
these should be able to build Ardb.

I will update the FAQ.

I think Android development is done using Java?

Graham.

Android development is done using Eclipse.

Eclipse has a C/C++ IDE, it also has a Java IDE.

It would be possible to convert it, but my IDE is Powerbuilder, which
really isn't similar to either one.

I'm pretty sure it does use java. I'll have to read through it. I may be
interested in taking a project like this on
