Can somebody help me? I tried to update the ARDB database to see if it
would grab the hunter data but I got this message instead.

Table has 13 columns but 14 values were supplied

It did this when Lob came out dude, It comes from the addition of
disciplines, or in this case powers. Last time it took about a week to
fix up, but i'm sure it will be fixed.
PS: Mr G, thanks for the work on ARDB, I think its the best deck
builder out there.

Unfortunatly François said he would stop updating it since LOB. So
unless someone else tries to work on it there won't be any update of
ARDB.

Thats a real shame. Can't blame the guy, he's done it out of love for
the game for quite a while now so Kudos to him for doing so. If anyone
was prepared to show me the coding and teach me how to update it
properly I sure would. The ARDB has been responsible for most of my
deck construction since I started playing V:Tes and it would be a shame
to see it go away. If anyone has the code and the "know how" to make it
work, let me know, I'm happy to continue it in Francois' name as long
as someone would tell me how to do it.
Merci Francois, for all your work
Viva La ARDB!!
(apologies now for screwing up the language, Thanks alot for your work)
Long live the ARDB!!

You have all you need here :

http://wiki.vekn.org/index.php/Anarch_Revolt_Deck_Builder

Francois also created a mailing list here :

http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/anarchdb-devel

Not sure that it still works though.

Open the CSV file in MS Excel or whatever, find the column that is new
(the labels should provide a clue) and delete it (or merge it with
another suitable column, if that's your thing).

Then ARDB can import it.

Does the new version of FELDB already gained the online database
updater tool?
Because if it doesn't have any, even if the software can cook, fly and
pay my taxes, I still won't use it alone if I can get any version of
ARDB around too. FELDB's database has too many errors yet, specially
regarding Rarity and card text. ARDB has no such problem since it
updates its database from the official one at WW's website.
Of course, if ARDB doesn't get a new version to account for the new
column added for NoR, we'll never be able to update it, but still, its
database is accurate on all sets released before, so I'll never abandon
it until Bala fixes either the database for good or adds an online
updater tool.

I appreciate Bala's efforts on making FELDB the best software overall
(which it is), I really do. But these database errors are a major
problem, and newbies shouldn't download it without knowing that they
simply can't use FELDB to check for card texts and rarity indicators.

We, the ARDB development team, are currently working on a new version.
This has been slower than we would have hoped due to real life concerns
for those involved. Please have patience, we hope to have something
for you soon.

Is there an "ARDB development team"?
Wow, that's very good news!!! You have all my gratitude!

Now becoming a little more egoistic, is mantaining a Mac
version part of the commitment of the development team?

Ciao,
Emiliano

Yes. The number of active members of that team is in question, but
there is a team.

OS X support is a goal. I know Francois is concerned about it and he
still helps out.

For those of you interested, we can use more help. See the ARDB
development site:

Good call. But I'm tryng that right now and I've noticed one thing:
somehow the .csv file has line breaks (or something that Excel
interprets as such) before all [MERGED] tags. This makes all the values
after those tags appear in a subsequent line when the data is imported
to Excel. So I see something line this (using commas to indicate column
separation):

Line N: Alan Sovereign, Vampire, Ventrue etc. etc.
Line N+1: [MERGED] (Alan's Merged Text), etc. etc.

I had to open the .csv file in Notepad and get rid of those line breaks
marks.

Also, the new column is crypt card type, right? I think we can live
without it for a while Wink

Wait. Now that I checked the library file, I noticed it has tons of
line breaks inside some columns' content. It comes before [] tags,
after some periods into card text, and other cases. It's a dauting task
to find all of them without merging the contents of one line with
another. Of course, these seem to be usual line breaks you find in card
texts (after things such as "+1 stealth action.", per example), but
anyone has a clue how I can make Excel ignore these if they appear into
text delimitator? ("")
