Meh. I've seen it before. That last one seems straight up your alley.

I can understand how they'd make some mistakes, but others? Like "old frog
food"? Although they do call the French frogs and to a Hobbit that's certainly
foreign...

Hmmm, I bet there is a grog recipe with asperines in it, aswell as the
obligatory battery acid.

Scented candles sure do bring in the romance, no wonder you're going that way.
Or are they roman candles? Those are festive!

I'd go for chemistry wholesale, if I were you. A touch of sulphuric
acid, some lead oxide and you are good to go.

Not cheating bots, I mean the computer-controlled opponents. I
telefragged people with pure, unadulterated skill. I just played against
the computer most of the time since I don't like my prey talking all the
time.

Yes, I suppose pirates would rely much more heavily on gross motor

Yes, Quake III has the rail gun! It is powerful (kills everything in two
shots), but if you miss you spend a long time reloading! Then I always
get nervous and miss the next shot too and then I am about really do be
buried till I respawn! (against bots I must mention, I am too chicken to
play against strangers that might be rude or otherwise unpleasant).

I bought it when I was still playing World of Warcraft (really too
chicken for that too). World of Warcraft doesn't run well on XP with 512
MB of memory. You will get lag and drops and you will be kicked from
parties that use more than 512 MB of your internal memory!

So you do have internet on the Immortal Elephant? Cable or ADSL?!

I almost completed the single player campaign in UT2003 (it took some
time till I discovered it was there), when I did a reinstall of my
computer, but the Headshots are still in it!

And most importantly, the graphics are a *lot* better!

Your apathy is apparently stemming from too much time in this
newsgroup (or too little - we're not really sure), which can be
hazardous to your long-term mental state. I recommend two mugs of
grog and a good keelhauling, then call me in the morning.

OK, shall I burn you with the (slightly) acidic grog first and keelhaul
you then or the other way round?
