....as I discover when I try to log on at 8 pm PDT. I should have logged on
during the day to get the updates and patching done.
Multiple builds is *cool*. Rest looks nifty, too.

Be thankful you didn't try playing earlier, it was City of Crashes.
Not even just crashes in/from new stuff - I crashed out in two missions
that have been around since release - the first BP mission and the
retrieve armor from the CoT mission.
Base editing also crashed out loads of people, and not just with
existing bases - I made an SG and edited a brand new base (obviously
just the initial room) and crashed out. ("Fear the Cute Ones" - a nod
to the Megatokyo webcomic - anyone with a cute alt that needs a
home...)

Haven't looked at multiple builds yet, but I don't really see the point
for non pvp/raid types.
Oh, in regards to the inf discussion earlier - I just hit 23 on the
ma/wi scrapper, and had no trouble buying DOs or SOs at the relevant
levels - and have around 600+k again at 23 - so if you and the wife
still need inf give me a shout. (Could have had more, but I kept a
knockback set Unique that has a 5 or 10% chance to boost powers recharge
for 5 second - could have sold it for a mil or so judging by the last 5
sales. Since jumpkick has knockback and is almost my faster recharging
attack it seemed prudent to actually use the IO.)

I expanded the plot and rebuilt my base with a full 10 telepads - 20
beacons, all zones, no waiting, thank you very much for falling real estate
prices. I didn't have any crashes but saw all kinds of placement bugs where
items would not move above floor level, etc.

Sure, PVE/PVP builds... but also solo/team builds, especially important for
controllers and defenders. You can't much solo a 25+ build if it's
optimized to give the most for teaming, and vice versa.

You would have had you been on earlier - they released i13 early in the
day, then did a hotfix later in the afternoon that seems to have fixed a
bunch of the new problems.

Hrm I guess, since I don't team much I just don't optimize in ways that
work only if teamed.

quite nice, I have a stone tank that when he got Granite I respected
out of the lower lvl armors but then it limited me to mishes/TF of
lvl32 and higher and now I made a pre-lvl32 build. Also if anyone has
been working on VEATs....You have that Night Widow and wanted to try a
Fortuna? Why not use your secondary build to make one. One thing to
keep aware of is costume issues on the bane/crab side of things,
depending on what powers you choose, it may change your look weather
you like it or not, I don't have any personal experience w/ that one
so I can't give you more details but I've heard it from several folks
on-line |

Latest live updates - 09.20.05 Powers Fixed runspeed buff duration of Elude (it was expiring too soon). Ruladak's Energy Aura is no longer Auto Hit. This is to make Defensive sets more effective against him. Acrobatics had a bug in which for 1/4 of a second it offered....
Issue 10 is live - Logged on this morning after the usual server maintenance, and had a nice big update... Once I got in, the motd popped up announcing 10 was live... Looks like it's time to fight some aliens, eh? CoinSpin
