avast! 4 SBS Edition is the most powerful protection to fight virus infections on your Microsoft Small Business Server. It works both as a standard protection of a file server, and also via its plug-ins as a protection of Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft ISA Server (included in avast! 4 SBS Premium Edition only). The most important components of avast! 4 SBS Edition are:
- Antivirus for Windows Servers - complete protection for Microsoft Windows Server itself - On-demand scanner and On-access protection is included - for detailed description see avast! 4 Server Edition.
- Antivirus for Exchange Server - for detailed description see avast! 4 Exchange Server Edition.
- Antivirus for ISA Server - included in SBS Premium Edition only. For detailed description see avast! 4 ISA Server Edition.
Our true incremental updates are based on iAVS technology and they are available for both virus definition file update and for program upgrade.
- Automatic Updates - are another key point in virus protection, both the virus database and the program itself can be updated automatically. The updates are incremental, and only new data are downloaded, thus reducing the transfer time. The typical size of a virus database update is approximately of 20-80kb, the program update usually has approximately 200-500kb.

avast! 4 SBS Edition can be used on Microsoft Small Business Server 2000/2003 only.
Please check the version of System on your Server before your purchase - Right click on "My Computer", select "Properties" and read "System:". It should be:
- "Microsoft Windows Server 2000 for Small Business Server..." or
- "Microsoft Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server..."

avast! 4 SBS Edition is distributed electronically. You will receive license file attached in the E-mail. Follow the steps described in received E-mail to activate avast! 4 on your SBS server.
avast! 4 SBS Edition is available in two modifications as Microsoft 2003 Small Business Server:
- avast! 4 SBS Standard Edition - protects Windows Server and Exchange Server
- avast! 4 SBS Premium Edition - protects Windows Server, Exchange Server and ISA Server.
You can buy avast! 4 SBS Standard or Premium Edition license with 1, 2 or 3 years of updates/upgrades included. Select the right package below, please. The license model is different from the Microsoft. It's based on the number of users and printed price is price per user - there are no 5, 10 or 20 user packages. You don't need to purchase licenses which you don't need. The Volume Discount Prices are available - to see them just press the "Display volume discount prices" link. The minimum number is 5 users, the maximum number of users is the same as Microsoft SBS - 75 (for SBS 2003).
