Route Scout^tm takes your ESRI^® ArcIMS^® websites the extra mile by adding basic (point to point) routing functionality. Route Scout can be used with your standard or custom ArcIMS HTML Viewer sites ? and since no special datasets are required to use Route Scout, you'll get additional mileage from your existing streets database!

With Route Scout you can ?

Build a routeable street network using your own (or freely downloadable) Shapefiles.
Specify one-way streets, road closures, and travel impedance (speed limit, e.g.).
Model travel time based on speed limit or street class.
Determine best routes based on time or distance.
Produce driving directions that include distance, travel time, and compass direction for each turn.
Customize map display preferences, such as colors, symbols, and labels.
