How to install a MainConcept Reference codec plug-in update?
For users of MainConcept Reference 1.6.0 and earlier: Uninstall the
currently installed MainConcept full version codec plug-in(s) from your system (Windows) or move the Reference application to trash (MacOSX).
Under Windows, uninstall the currently installed MainConcept Reference base application from your system.
Download the latest MainConcept Reference base application at www.mainconcept.com and install it.
Run MainConcept Reference and go to Help > Register. In the Register dialog, please enter your personal serial number for the licensed Codec Plug-In (e.g. MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, VC-1 Pro etc.), in order to unlock it.
If you have already licensed one or more of the MainConcept codec plug-ins, the corresponding update is for free.
